<p>PROVIDENCE, R.I. &#8212; The thickly wooded forest gave way to a grassy meadow at the crest of the hill, and there a break in the trees revealed a breathtaking scene framed in branches and leaves: Providence&#8217;s downtown skyline, several miles away.</p>

<em>Sunday, March 13, 10 A M</em></p>
<p>Meet at the Neutaconkanut Hill Recreation Center Parking lot at 675 Plainfield St., Prov. We will climb to the Summit of the Hill. Dress for walking in wooded areas.</p>
<p>Walk the Forest trails of the Hill, unique in the City, created in the 1930s by the WPA, many re-created by the Neutaconkanut Hill Conservancy. Home of deer, wild turkey, fox, hawks &amp; a multitude of small animals.</p>
<p><strong>Winter emphasizes the spectacular views of the City.</strong></p>
<p>The highest point in Providence &amp; the northwest boundary in the agreement between Roger Williams &amp; Narragansett Indian Sachems, which became our City &amp; our State.</p>
