Winter From Providence’s Highest Point

Join us for a Winter Walk on Neutaconkanut Hill
Sunday, March 13, 10 A M

Meet at the Neutaconkanut Hill Recreation Center Parking lot at 675 Plainfield St., Prov. We will climb to the Summit of the Hill. Dress for walking in wooded areas.

Walk the Forest trails of the Hill, unique in the City, created in the 1930s by the WPA, many re-created by the Neutaconkanut Hill Conservancy. Home of deer, wild turkey, fox, hawks & a multitude of small animals.

Winter emphasizes the spectacular views of the City.

The highest point in Providence & the northwest boundary in the agreement between Roger Williams & Narragansett Indian Sachems, which became our City & our State.
